MEET DR RYAN JAMES CORNISH

MDSc BDS BHSc(Hons) BSc

Dr Ryan Cornish is an Australian trained dentist with a Masters Degree in Oral Pathology.

 

After graduating from a Health Science Degree and subsequent First Class Honours degree from The University of Adelaide, Ryan went on to obtained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Deans List recipient) from the University of Adelaide. In 2005 Ryan completed a Masters Degree in Oral Pathology, also from the University of Adelaide.

Ryan has worked in oral surgery departments both in the Royal Adelaide Hospital and in the United Kingdom.

Ryan has been working as a surgical dentist in private practice since 2004.

 

Ryan has been a senior lecturer teaching dental students at the University of Adelaide, and has acted as Clinical Director for the Tasmanian Oral Health Service.

Ryan can undertake procedures under local anaesthetic, oral sedation and general anaesthetic.

Outside of work Ryan enjoys travelling (including undertaking volunteering in Cambodia/Vietnam).

Dr Ryan Cornish has an enduring passion for volunteer work, and has been on 4 humanitarian trips to Cambodia and Vietnam through AHHA - Australian Health and Humanitarian Aid in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

During his time in Vietnam and Cambodia, Dr Ryan Cornish's focus was on treating medically, mentally or physically compromised adults and children.
